Colombia is positioning itself as a frontrunner in Latin America's shift toward sustainable bioplastics production. To this end Colombia launched a Bioplastics Cluster with backing from the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MinCiencias) and the EU-funded Circular Plastics Program of the Americas (CPAP).
